How access is organized
DocIQ separates customer data into tenants, workspaces, and projects. A tenant is your organization. A workspace is an independently managed business unit with its own credits. A project contains the documents, runs, reports, and member access for one stream of work.
Role overview
- Tenant Admin: manages tenant settings and users, creates workspaces, appoints Workspace Admins, and can read content across the tenant.
- Workspace Admin: manages assigned workspaces, purchases or allocates credits, creates projects, controls project access, and runs analyses.
- Project User: works only in projects explicitly assigned to them. Available actions depend on the project access granted.
- Super Admin: operates the DocIQ platform. Support access to customer content is reason-tagged, audited, and visible to the tenant.
Invite a user
- Open Settings, then Users.
- Select Invite user and enter the person’s work email.
- Choose the appropriate tenant or workspace responsibility.
- Send the invitation. The invitation expires if it is not accepted within the displayed period.
- After acceptance, grant access only to the workspaces and projects the person needs.
Good access hygiene
- Use individual accounts; never share credentials.
- Review membership when a project closes or a person changes role.
- Grant the narrowest useful access and expand it only when the work requires it.
- Use the audit log to verify invitations, role changes, and support access.
